As of Summer 2019, the CS 102 Placement Assessment (PLCS) is no longer offered.

The purpose of the PLCS assessment was to provide a way for students to earn the prerequisite needed for many UA classes without having to take the CS102 course.

 Since CS102 no longer serves as a campus prerequisite, there is no longer a need for this assessment.

Beginning fall 2019, students successfully enrolling in and passing CS102 will earn 3 credit hours and a "C" (computer credit).
